The Carpinteria United Boys U14 Team won second place at the Apricot Jam Soccer Tournament in Moorpark April 16 and 17. Despite the over 90 degree heat, Carpinteria United won all three of their pool play games defeating Walnut 2-1, Simi Valley 5-3 and Thousand Oaks 4-1. In the Championship game, Carpinteria United met their strongest opponent Visalia. Despite losing to Visalia, the boys played an outstanding tournament and worked well together as a team.
